Experience Colorado 2017
Experience Colorado is an opportunity for you to experience the local flavor of the beautiful State of Colorado. The idea is to provide you the time to enjoy Colorado in an activity that interests you.
We have narrowed down the options for Experience Colorado based on feedback. If you are still interested in golf, the downtown experience, biking, or one of the other Experiences, please let us know.
Breathe some Rocky Mountain air while climbing just over 500 feet in elevation to the peak of South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. This trail is on the eastern flank of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, takes in beautiful views of Golden. The 1.5 mile (round-trip) hike begins at 1832 Belvedere Street (just .5 miles from the Coors Brewery tour parking lot), and is considered a moderate hike. The actual hike should take about an hour. Post hike options include: exploring downtown Golden, including walking along Clear Creek, and lunch. Joining the NIFDA Brewery Tour, or making your way to Red Rocks Amphitheater. NOTE: If you would like a longer, more challenging hike, we have several volunteers (that are very familiar with the terrain and area) willing to lead a more difficult hike.

Georgetown Loop Railroad Ride
All Aboard! Georgetown Loop Railroad is a 3' narrow gauge tourist railroad located in the Rocky Mountains of Clear Creek County. Located just off busy I-70 about an hour west of Denver in the mountain town of Georgetown. Enjoy Georgetown, which is a quaint, historic town with an interesting mining history and has managed to keep its Victorian charm with many homes and buildings rich in this architectural style. We will be planning on the 11:25 am train departure. Cost will be determined by selection of Coach or First Class Parlor Car and an early group booking rate. This will be an extra charge for those planning to attend. The loop train ride is an hour and 15 minutes. Plan to enjoy lunch and experience Georgetown after the tour.
