Member Bio:

Gus, the "Flag King of Chicago," has been working with WGN Flag & Decorating Co., a 4th Generation Family-Owned Company established in 1916, and the industry since a mere 4-years-old and has been prominent in NIFDA for almost 25 years. He is dedicated to our industry and passionate about our flag as well as his City and community. Gus also serves as an SSA Commissioner for the City of Chicago.

Together with his wife, Jessica, they manage a menagerie of pets (2 dogs, 3 cats, and a turtle) and a spirited teenager, Kai. He enjoys cooking, traveling, astronomy, and is a bit of a Star Wars and Disney nerd, something that he and Kai wholeheartedly enjoy together.

Gus's historical knowledge and experience in NIFDA has become an integral part of our Board of Directors, both past and present. He's continued to promote NIFDA and the flag industry at every turn, all while also managing NIFDA Headquarters, located at his address in Chicago, IL.
